The Retreat Centre

The modern conference centre, built by the State Bank of Australia in 1972, was opened as the Centre for Spiritual Learning in 1996, and is inspired and operated by the Brahma Kumaris.  Set in 22 acres of native bush including a lake, it has a special atmosphere for reflection.   Its tranquil environment is felt immediately you come through the gates.

A typical day on retreat begins with early morning guided meditation, perhaps some tai chi exercises or a morning walk.  Throughout the day there is time for workshops and creative exercises as well as for relaxing in the beautiful 22 acre property, which includes a lake.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals, served in the dining area where floor to ceiling windows overlook natural gardens.

The evenings offer something light – fireside chats, sharing or entertainment.

Accommodation is in twin share bedrooms with en-suite.
